The Directorate of Cultural Heritage is part of the Ministry of Culture. Its mission is to ensure the protection, conservation, restoration, maintenance and promotion of the architectural, archaeological and ethnographic heritage. It is also in charge of the country’s museums and its various artistic treasures.
