Collections offers two ways to explore the items in the Sharing History Virtual Museum’s Database:

If you select a Country, you can see all the items that were contributed by the Partners from the selected country. You can then select by Theme and further select by Subtheme. All results will relate to the country you first selected.

If you select a Theme, the result will include the items that were contributed by all countries for that Theme only. Further selection by Subthemes is also available.

The Themes are those covered by our Exhibitions, but in Collections you can also see extra material that was not used for the Exhibitions.

The items are mostly listed in chronological order, within the period 1815 – 1918.
