Description:

Zeybek is a folk dance from Western Anatolia. It is done either by one or several dancers moving in a circle. Zeybek represents the protector. The dancer keeps his arms upright on the shoulder level while sometimes they are curled from elbow. He moves slowly with long steps. From time to time he kneels to touch his knee down.
