This rich embroidery in the Mudéjar style showed the importance of these goods in the Italian and Spanish Renaissance. The influence of the Arab art in the Renaissance has been overlooked many times, but the Mediterranean ceramics and textiles of this period were influenced, in technique and decoration, by this art.
