Description:

A pair of blank reeds opened from both sides, of moderate thickness. Each has six holes on the surface attached together with a type of gum. Playing the mijwiz requires some ability because it is played by blowing into both reeds at the same time and pushing the air strongly with the cheeks. Shepherds used to play it while taking their flocks of sheep and goats to graze. It is a popular traditional musical instrument in the Middle East.
