The \'Tantur\' is a tipical example of cultural tradition developed inside the contaminations typical of the Mediterranean world. It is decorated with symbolic images of leaves, flowers and animals and it has engraved: year of Egira 1172. Therefore its cylindrical shape reminds of the asherah, one of the emblems of the Phoenician goddess of fertility Astarte (the Siriac Atargotis), often represented with cylindrical headgear.
