Description:

A cultic item with Arabic calligraphy mentioning God and his prophet Muhammad made of casted brass; fixed on a pointed piece of copper with a hole at the bottom to install on a long wooden staff. In religious festivities such as a pilgrimage, various activities were organized that would normally include festivals and rallies under flags and standards. The heads of flagstaffs were decorated with metallic items usually with Arabic calligraphy and some cosmic signs such as the crescent and the star.
