Description:

This oval-shaped double-handled charbiya has a long neck, a curved rim and a flat bottom. The main colours of the decorations are yellow, green and brown. On the shoulders, a strip of leaves in green and yellow are superimposed on a paler green background. A second strip of brown herringbone sits above a yellow and brown spotted cheetah, painted in profile with its head turned in full face and its big green eyes wide open. Its back is raised and topped with a ribbed crest. This item shows traces of both Ottoman and Andalusian influences.
