20th century
Paper
The Lycée Armand-Fallières, attended in his time by Jules Ferry and named after the President of the French Republic, was located on the Rue de Russie and had the objective of educating the daughters of European settlers in their secondary education. In the early 20th century, a few Tunisians began to attend the school and thus had access to a modern European education. This photograph shows a secondary school class of young girls.
