This brigadier-general uniform from the latter half of the 19th century comprises a full suit, a short coat, a shirt, a checia, a chemla and a pair of shoes. The brigadier-general also wore two crossed capes and a sword, with the Nichan al-Iftikhar (1st class) medal on the right-hand side of the chest, next to the insignas, and the Légion d'Honneur and the Ordre des Saints Maurice et Lazare medals on the left-hand side.
