Gorni Polog
There used to be around fifty diverse styles of folk costumes worn in different ethnic areas throughout Macedonia in the 19th century and in the early 20th century. Among the most prominent were the costumes of Gorni Polog. Unlike the diverse and numerous women’s garments, men’s outfits were much simpler and rather unified. These men's trousers of white canvas are decorated plainly with black braids.
