Belts, sashes and aprons were unavoidable accessories of folk costumes in all areas of Macedonia. This sash was made of white hand-woven cotton cloth, which was decorated at the front with embroidery of pink wool, silver-wrapped thread, silver string, sequins and multi-coloured beads. It has a hook and a loop on the ends for fastening. The apron was made in the technique of plain-weave. The warp of cotton and the weft of red wool and silver and gold-wrapped threads was embellished with sequins – svetlinke – and beads. The apron has two strips on the left and right sides woven and decorated in the same manner with shells and coins suspended at the bottom.
