Description:

On obverse tuğra of sultan Abdul Hamid II, flower to right, denomination below: ١٠ ش “10 sh”, all within wreath with crossed quivers and unstrung bow at bottom, above seven stars, “W” below wreath tie. On reverse: within a wreath: “duriba fi misr 1293 22” (“22, struck in Misr, 1293”). Above 3 stars. It was issued in the year 22 (AH 1317 / AD 1896) of sultan Abdul Hamid II’s reign (Hegira 1293–1327 / AD 1876–1909).
