Cesare Trionfo was a child when he migrated with his family to Tunisia from Livorno in 1855. He became a trader, and in 1886 he started trading musical instruments. In Tunis, he later also started a shop that made musical instruments such as this organ. Trionfo promoted the construction of the theatre Politeama Roissini, which he co-owned.
This organ was exhibited in Milan for the 1906 international exhibition. The organ is a traditional Italian musical instrument. This one has decorative elements taken from Arab architecture.
