Description:

On the occasion of the International Exhibition in Turin in 1911 the Talmone Company built an Egyptian Pavilion resembling an Egyptian temple. The inside of the Pavilion shows details inspired by Egyptian motifs and related to the company’s name. Items highlight the taste of the age for Egyptian and oriental objects. The stained glass design in the Pavilion was taken from a postcard design. This picture, showing a stunning view of a caravan travelling across the desert and already used for the Exhibition in Turin in 1898, is now employed to promote the logo "Chocolate of the Pyramids".
