1914
In 1910, the Khédivé of Egypt contracted the construction of a yacht to the shipyards Cantieri Gallinari of Livorno, Italy. This company went bankrupt and its business was absorbed by the Fratelli Orlando shipyards, from Livorno as well. After improving the project, the Fratelli Orlando started building the yacht in 1913 and delivered it to the Khédivé Hilmì Abbas in May 1914. In recognition of the high quality of work on the yacht engineer Giuseppe Orlando was granted the Ottoman decoration of the Order of Osmanieh.
