Description:

A photo depicting a showcase with Iznik ceramics belonging to Greek and European collectors such as Benakis, Nomico, Lagonico and Salvago. Many of the works were collected by Greeks in Egypt and were included in the Exposition d’Art Musulman, organised by Gaston Migeon and held in Alexandria in 1925 while a number more were shown in the earlier great Islamic exhibition in Munich in 1910.
