Description:

Portrait of Emperor Franz Joseph as an officer of the Kaiserjäger (Elite regiment). He ruled Austria for 68 years. During his long reign he had cordial relation to the Sultans of the Ottoman Empire and visited Istanbul and Jerusalem. He died in 1916 during World War I.
