At the centre of each door is a field of dense arabesques and stars. The lengthy and exquisite Arabic inscription adorning the perimeter of each of these panels proclaims the sanctity of a shrine and requests permission to enter into it. It is signed by one Muhammad Amin al-Kirmani. On the reverse sides of each door are repeating engraved, peaked crosses with studs inset down the centre.
