Description:

One padded handle with leather, tapered cover; long covered nozzle, stamped reliefs. Coffee-drinking in a communal setting is an essential part of traditions in Bedouin communities to celebrate or mourn. This object of common use reflects the Bedouins’ traditions and everyday life and illustrates the variegated population composition of the Jordanian territory in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
