Description:

Universal Exhibition of Paris, 1878. The Chapel of the Mihrab is a faithful reconstruction of the Mihrab in the beautiful mosque built in Cordoba by the Amir Abd al Rahman I above the previous Christian church. The decoration was created by Giuseppe Botana, who specialised in mother-of-pearl works, and by Zuloaga's, a mosaics' maker.
