This curious postcard with a utopian vision of how the Strait of Gibraltar could become in the future was sent to the Marquis of Cerralbo by a friend, Gabriel Vich, but never received a stamp. Although it shows the address of the marquis, maybe it was posted inside an envelope or delivered, finally, on hand. This kind of ephemera was published by the fortnightly publication España en África (Spain in Africa), active in the first decades of the 20th century. The image represented is a beautiful commercial and geopolitical project that would have linked two continents with a 15 km bridge.
