An old photograph of the Egyptian Stock Market in Alexandria, one of the oldest stock markets in the world. It was established in 1899, during the time of Khedive `Abbas II, in the Muhammad `Ali square in Alexandria. The Alexandria Stock Market became a landmark in the city that frequently appears on postcards.
