Description:

After the occupation and eventual annexation of the two former Ottoman provinces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the percentage of Muslims in the Austro-Hungarian Empire reached about 1.2 per cent of the total population by 1910. The quota of Muslim soldiers in the k.u.k. army reached 0.8 per cent.
