Description:

After the blockade of the Nile delta by the Royal Navy and the Austrian War Navy, and the conquest of Sidon, British and Austrian forces then attacked the city of Acre. Similar to Sidon, the port and the city of Acre were first bombarded for one day (November 3rd). The following day, a small landing party of Austrian, British and Ottoman troops – led personally by the Austrian fleet commander Archduke Friedrich of Austria (1821–1846) – finally took the citadel.
