Description:

The medal shows Pallas Athena, the goddess of wisdom. The opposite side of the medal shows the pavilion of the 1873 World's Fair in Vienna, above it two griffons hold a shield with the initials of Emperor Franz Joseph crowned by the crown of Austria.
