Description:

An entire set of coffins was made in Thebes for the Amun priest Nes-pauti-taui. The mummy board and both coffin lids bear the same decorative scheme. We see enormous ornamental collars of foliage and flowers. The hands are separately applied and hold the djed-pillar and the Blood of Isis. The faces and wigs are also superimposed.
